Review: Be A Star, Wonder Woman!

Be A Star, Wonder Woman!

by Michael Dahl

This was a cute, delightful book. Recommended for ages 3-5 (though I think it would be good for beginner readers as well), it’s the story of a young girl heading off to school and the trials she might face. What would a hero like Wonder Woman do? How would she face her own challenges? This little girl, taking her favorite hero to heart, meets each challenge head on: sharing with classmates, fear on the playground, and spelling in the classroom. With heroic traits she changes what could have been a bad day into an amazingly great day. The illustrations mirror and compare this young girl’s world with Wonder Woman’s universe. Bright and colorful, short and sweet, this book would be a great read for new and early readers. This book would be a great addition for any child’s library.

This book is set for release on June 1, 2017.
