aka The Frazzled Mom
Isn’t being fashionable more of an “eye of the beholder” kind of thing?
I’m not big on fashion. In fact, I think I’d make people like Tim Gunn cringe. I dress for comfort, not for looks. Sure, if I have a ton of time on my hands, I could search the bins and racks to come up with a decent wardrobe. But I have little time as it is. When I do need clothes, I can’t stand more than an hour shopping. It kills me (almost literally). I kid you not…I’m a little dramatic, I suppose. Stores are like vampires, slowing sucking the life out of me. When I’m done, I dump my purchase on my bed and leave it to have a break from it all.
Another big part of my aversion to fashion is due to the expense. I avoid Nordstroms and other such stores like the plague. In my opinion, my money is better spent on fixing things around the house or spending time with my family. I cringe when my bill goes higher than $50. So again, if I had time on my hands, I’d be able to hit multiple stores and sales to find the best bargains.
But again, the vampire comes out and I’m almost crying I’m so done with shopping. lol, don’t ever taking me shopping.
