Can’t We All Just Get Oolong?

cozy-giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation.

I suppose it could also be referring to a teapot cover, but I’m not British and I make my tea one cup at a time.

When I think of cozy, I’m reminded of two of the best cats I’ve ever had. Warm and snuggly (no, that’s not their names), I never needed a heating pad or warming blanket when they were around.

With New Year’s Eve coming up and the weather growing even colder in the evenings, my plans have changed. I’ll be spending it indoors.

Ha ha ha! Who am I kidding? I’ve never been one for crowds. (Have we learned nothing from zombie movies?!) I always spend New Year’s snuggled up at home with a hot cup of tea and a nice book or movie.

What are your plans for the eve before the new year?

The hubs and I will be spending New Years at home with snacks, coffee, Spirit the Cat, and a series to watch. Right now it is ‘The Following’ which is pretty good. Happy New Year!

I love your connection between cozy and tea-cozy! Not sure yet about New Years, but it will be somewhere warm for sure 🙂
