Psychic Didn’t See That Coming

Today’s word is premonition.

I knew they’d pick that word.

Passed by to find a roof had collapsed on the car of the psychic reading business. I wonder if they saw that coming…

One time, Death had a premonition that Chuck Norris was about to strike. True story.

Seems like we can all practice the premonition game when watching America’s Funniest Home Videos or fails on YouTube.

After thinking about it a while, I realized that I’ve seen several movies (and even TV shows) that have used premonition as a plot device. Premonition (2007), Minority Report (2002), Final Destination (2000), Signs (2002), Heroes (2006-2010), Next (2007). I think of these, Final Destination was the most fun (silliest) to watch. After a while, the audience develops that gut feeling of anticipating a character’s future demise. Ok, the bus caught us off guard, but everything else was obvious.

Can you think of any others?
