B is for Butter Not Do That

What story should I include for the letter B?

Friend: I suppose the story about how I was out of butter this morning and had to eat my toast dry wouldn’t make the cut.

Me: Hmmm…maybe I can spin it

Friend: I’m not sure how spinning toast makes it more interesting but sure!

Me: It’ll be difficult. If it was a documentary, I could film the reenactment with tense music.

Friend: Yes.. perhaps the psycho music as I open the butter dish. And then the Kahnnnn yell as I realized some someone ate the last of it.

(It’s Khan, actually…but nevermind that)

Me: Wait, wait, wait! The butter dish was in the fridge and it was EMPTY? WHO EVEN DOES THAT?!

Friend: I KNOW!

Me: I’m so using this story.

Seriously…who puts an empty dish BACK in the refrigerator?! Curse you, Khan!

That is sadistic! My kids do the same. Looking forward to that (insert treat) only to pick up an empty box. Gee, that’s great that we’ve been refrigerating it all week.

It’s annoying when you open a box full of hopes of eating something good & then all of a sudden realise it’s empty.

Check out my post for today!

And even worse when you are gluten sensitive and you find toast crumbs in the butter you were going to put on your gluten-free anything else.

True story. I believe there is butter now in the fridge. You may rest easy.

It was truly a dark day in history. On that particular day, the strawberry jam went on the toast…without the butter.

I enjoyed your post today. I think we all know that person who avoids washing the dish or fails to tell anyone that they used the last. Visiting from

Hello, fellow A-to-Zer! I see you have a butter dish Fiend in your once-happy home. That is bad. I recommend exorcism. It is The Only Way. 🙂
I liked your post, and will come back presently for more.
